Whether you're chasing icons, sipping the unexpected, or just stocking up with style, the July wine auction has something for every kind of good company.
We’ve got over 300 lots of fine wine and spirits, including new-to-market gems and cellar heroes returning to the block. The auction ends Sunday 27 July at 7pm, but don’t wait; earliest highest bid wins, so bidding early pays off.
Now grab a glass and let’s take a little armchair journey through the lots...
New Zealand: Homegrown Icons and Hidden Treasures
From Coleraine to Pyramid Valley, the best of NZ is back in the room.
Expect depth from Hawke’s Bay, elegance from North Canterbury, and Waiheke charisma in every bottle of Stonyridge Larose.
We’ve also got single-vineyard picks, natural expressions, and some beautifully aged claret-styled reds ready to drink now.
Australia: Bold, Brilliant, and Just What Winter Ordered
Cabernet from Coonawarra, Shiraz from Barossa, class from Margaret River. This month’s Aussie reds are a masterclass in warming up the season — including Wynns Black Label, Penfolds favourites, and a few boutique names to broaden your horizons.
Other New World: Something Different, Something Delicious
Curious about Chile? Passionate about Pinot from California? We’ve got a few surprises tucked away from the broader world of wine, ready for the brave and the bold.
Germany: Riesling with Swagger
Bright. Textured. Highly rated. From the Mosel to the Rheingau, these German Rieslings are fresh, fine and built to last. Look out for Keller, Donnhoff, and other names that never hang around long.
Italy: La Dolce Vita in a Glass
Age-worthy Barolo, plush Amarone, and deeply satisfying Brunello.
This month’s Italian selection is pure indulgence. Take a trip from Piedmont to Tuscany and enjoy the journey — no passport required.
Spain: Rioja Royalty and More
Gran Reservas with pedigree, ready to enjoy.
Aged to perfection, full of spice and velvet, this is Rioja at its best; and it’s all new to market. Don’t miss these under-the-radar treasures.
France: Burgundy to Bordeaux and Beyond
We’re talking classics. Red Burgundy with fine detail. Bordeaux with age and ambition. Plus elegant whites and a few Rhône charmers for fireside drinking. Trust us, this section deserves a deep dive.
Other Old World: Travel Without Travelling
A few tasty curveballs from Austria, Portugal, and Eastern Europe round out the list. There’s character in every bottle and some serious bang for buck.
Fortifieds: For the Finish Line
Whether it’s a vintage Port or a warming Tawny, our fortified selection is small but mighty. Sweet, strong, and seriously satisfying.
Whisky: For Collectors and Sippers Alike
From peaty Islay drams to smooth Speysides, the whisky lots are carefully curated for lovers and explorers. Expect age statements, indie bottlings, and a few cult names.
Spirits & Liqueurs: Curious? You Should Be.
This month’s spirits include small-batch South African gins, rare bitters, and beautifully bottled liqueurs that turn any bar cart into a talking point.

Auction closes Sunday 27 July at 7pm. Any Lot bid on in the last couple of minutes of the auction will extend a further 2 minutes.
As with buying any second-hand goods there can be risk. This risk can be mitigated through reviewing widely available vintage reports and critic reviews and imposing realistic expectations. You will also notice that our photographs of each new lot are very detailed, helping you to inspect the wine from the comfort of your seat. The reward however, of a fine wine at its absolute peak of maturity, offering its full range of primary, secondary and tertiary flavours should be significant enough for most to negate the occasional disappointment. So, if the risk-reward scales are deemed favourable, we have a lovely selection of wines at various stages of maturity available in our current auction.
Happy browsing and please bid responsibly.
